The Executive Committee of the Triple Helix Association is pleased to announce the election of Professor Riccardo Viale as the new THA Secretary General.

Renewing his commitment to the THA, Riccardo stated that, “In a world always more characterized by the driving force of knowledge, the Triple Helix model of innovation is the engine of industrial growth and economic prosperity.”

One of the founding members of the Triple Helix Association, organizer of the Triple Helix VI International Conference in 2005, and a strong contributor to the scientific debate on the Triple Helix since its early development, he holds academic positions as Professor of Epistemology of Social Sciences at the Department of Sociology of the University of Milano-Bicocca; Professor of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences at the Scuola Nazionale dell’Amministrazione, Rome; Professor of Behavioral Economics at the LUISS School of Government, Rome; and Visiting Professor of Neurocognitive Social Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (2015).

In addition, Riccardo is Founder Member and Chairman of La Fondazione NY (New York); Patron Member, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; and Columnist of “Il Sole 24Ore”.

Riccardo will be supported by Marco Riva, responsible of public policies studies in Fondazione Rosselli, who will act as THA Secretary General Assistant.
