I am currently pursuing my PhD at Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. My research involves the influence of the regional institutional frameworks effect on the evolution of an inter -regional innovation system. I look at the Triple Helix stakeholders in a region and study if institutional gaps occur when these stakeholders interact and, if so, the influence on an inter-regional innovation system. I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in my country (India) and moved to Taiwan to complete my MBA. I worked at a local college in India for a year as a research assistant before moving to Waterford, Ireland, to continue my education.

Rebecca Allinson is Director at Technopolis responsible for projects/work in the field of European and UK public policy, specifically related to the Higher Education, Entrepreneurship, Research and Innovation Policy. This includes research, project management and evaluation. Rebecca has both evaluated and taught evaluation theory and practice. Her work in the last few years has concentrated on the interplay between education, research and enterprise. Recent work includes support for the development of a guiding framework for European Entrepreneurial Universities, the production of best practice case studies for the compendium of higher education reform, a study on good practice in relation to the education side of the knowledge triangle, case studies on credit systems in European Universities, work on open educational resources, work in the UK on leadership and governance in industry and HEIs. Rebecca managed a piece of work for HEFCE on comparisons of teaching funding mechanisms. Rebecca holds a BSc in Chemistry and a Masters in Silicon Chemistry.

Dr Nikolaos Dimitriadis (MBA, PhD) has been applying neurological and behavioral sciences in marketing, communications and leadership for over a decade. He is co-authoring a book on Neuroscience for Leaders for Kogan Page Publishers, London, and was invited to speak at TEDx University of Strathclyde 2015 about the urgent need for Brain-Based Communications. He is a certified Neuromarketer, by SalesBrain USA, and an award-winning communications professional (International PR Association Award, SABRE Award by Holmes Report and other international and national awards). In 2015, he was invited to lecture at the Neuromarketing Certificate Program at the Hamburg Media School among the top twenty Neuromarketing experts in the world. He is a mentor of startups in the USAID-backed ICT Hub in Belgrade, Serbia. When he was a Lecturer at Sheffield University Management School in the UK, he was announced by MBA students as the best lecturer in the program. He has received both his PhD and his MBA from the University of Sheffield. Dr .Nikolaos Dimitriadis is currently the Development Director at the Executive Development Institute of the University of Sheffield International Faculty, City College, and he is lectures frequently at the Sheffield Executive MBA in South East Europe (SEE). His research papers and professional opinion have been presented at several national and international conferences, and published in various academic journals, business magazines and other media (business portals, newspapers, TV, radio etc). He is the co-owner of DNA Communications, a full service agency based in Belgrade, Serbia, and he trains and coaches executives of multinational corporations in the SEE region. He has worked with companies and institutions such as IKEA, Nestle, Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, Holcim, Pierre Fabre, Coca Cola, Rauch, Teekanne, USAID, GIZ and others. Dr Dimitriadis is a pioneer in the SEE region and a strong advocate of neurological and behavioral approaches in education, marketing, management and leadership. He is a passionate supporter of brain- based communications, targeted and holistic research, integrated brand building and of a results.

Eric Nyamwaro is the Director of Programs and Partnership at I Choose Life-Africa. He was among the pioneer peer educators to be trained at the University of Nairobi over fourteen years ago, a journey that shaped and continues to influence his life. He is passionate about people, projects and the positive transformation that comes when the two are intentionally designed and build to work together. He has over fourteen years of professional work experience in programs, human resource management and partnership development among others, and holds a MSc degree in Education for sustainability from the London South Bank University, a Higher National Diploma in HR from the Institute of Human Resource Management, Kenya, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Nairobi.
