INVITED SPEECH ON ‘TRIPLE HELIX’ BY PROFESSOR KETIKIDIS IN THESSALONIKI
Professor Panayiotis Ketikidis, President of the TH Greek Chapter and Vice Principal of the International Faculty , CI T Y College, participated as invited speaker at the event entitled ‘Digital Europe: Growth and Innovation promote Entrepreneurship – the EU gives SMEs priority for growth’. The event took place at Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki in 4 March 2016 and was organised by Ms Eva Kaili, Member of the European Parliament and the Alexander Innovation Zone.
Professor Ketikidis had the opportunity to talk about the notion of Triple Helix with his presentation on ‘Triple Helix – Putting the Greek innovation in motion’ and discussed how the interaction of the three pillars, education, innovation and entrepreneurship, can contribute to Greece’s growth.
The event featured three panels with distinguished speakers, proved very informative, and generated much discussion between participants.

SEERC Received the Best Think-Tank in South East Europe Award at the World Business Angels Investment Forum (21-23 February, 2016, Istanbul, Turkey) for building entrepreneurs and supporting start-ups.
