QUADRUPLE HELIX EXPERIMENTS STARTING IN FEBRUARY 2018

The THA Chapter of Greece, together with the South East European Research Centre (SEERC), are working on finalizing the details of a strategy for organizing quadruple helix experiments (multi-stakeholder co-creation) aiming to test the incorporation of responsible research and innovation (RRI) within the institutional frameworks of each stakeholder.  These activities come under the EU funded project – FIT4RRI (H2020/SWAFS), through which the transnational partnership aims at testing various RRI governance settings and best practices in the fields of data mining, photonics, energy and material science.

The implementation of the experiments will begin in February 2018 in UK, Italy and Portugal.  For more information: https://fit4rri.eu/.

The next SATHA Innovation Awards are going to be held in Lahore in the first week of March 2018.  Activities regarding the preparation of upcoming event, include the scouting and collection from academia, industry, and Government of commercially viable indigenous developments, having a social and Economic impact on society.  Such developments are presented in the form of valuable/successful case studies to be shared during the SATHA Innovation Award Ceremony.  The ceremony will be jointly organized by SATHA and ORIC, University of the Punjab.  This regular activity is going to be conducted four times a year in four provinces of Pakistan.  This initiative is highlighting the issues regarding S&T promotion and weakness in Pakistan.  SATHA is playing a crucial role in making a way for scientists, industry, and the Government sector to work together.
