Lomonosov Moscow State University is among the strongest classical universities and is a TOP-1 university in Russia.  [108 place – QS World University Rankings, 4 place – BRICS Rankings, 35 place – QS WU Rankings by Subject Linguistics, 60 place – QS WU Rankings by Faculty Natural Science].  There has been a large-scale development of innovation infrastructure at the University.  The study of the Triple Helix concept is one of the priority research topics of the Department of Innovation Economics.

Since its establishment (1755), it has been ia leading academic and cultural center.  It is the largest of the classical research universities within the former USSR.  It has 5,000 academic staff and 4,500 researchers, over 40,000 students, including 5,000 international students from almost 100 countries.  10,000 schoolchildren attend various introductory groups organized by the University.  In 2008, the University for the first time in Russia was granted the freedom to follow its own academic standards and award its own degrees.  The University is well-known for its strong natural sciences tradition: 11 (of Russian 18) Nobel Prize winners and 6 (of Russian 8) Fields medalists were alumni or academics at Lomonosov.  The 39 faculties cover all areas of research, except engineering.  The University has two campuses where there are four museums, fifteen research institutes, one of the two botanical gardens, a Science Park and a number of service units.

I am a Research Fellow at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Padova.  I have a background in Economics, and a PhD in Economics and Management.  My main research interests include industrial and innovation policies, innovation networks and R&D consortia, and industrial clusters.  I have been involved in a number of international research projects on clusters and innovation policies, including EU-funded Research Framework projects, as well as in several projects funded by national and regional agencies.

I have a degree in Chemical Engineering (1995) and master´s degree (1998) and doctorate degree (2002) in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia.  In 2015/2016, I did my postdoctoral at North Carolina State University (NC State, Raleigh, US) on innovation management.  Since 2007, I am a Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Department of Production and Mechanical Engineering (DEP).  At UFV, from 2011 to 2015, I was the Director of the Technology Center of Regional Development of Viçosa (CenTev/UFV), which brings together the Business Incubator, the Technology Park of Viçosa (tecnoPARQ), the Junior Companies Center and the Social and Educational Development Center (Nudese); and from 2007 to 2011, I was the Coordinator of the Business Incubator.  Currently the Coordinator of the post-graduation courses (lato sensu) in Production Management and Occupational Safety Engineering; a Member of the Standing Committee on Intellectual Property UFV (CPPI / NIT); a Tutor of Tutorial Education Program (PET) in the course of Production Engineering and collaborator of CenTev.  Coordinated the project of creating the Electronic Production and Engineering Magazine (2008).  I was the Director of Innovation Network of Minas Gerais State (RMI), 2013/2014, and Director of the Brazilian Association of Production Engineering (Abepro), 2010/2011.  I develop research in: innovation management, innovation environments management and university-industry-government interaction, and I am leader of the research group Management Technology Center (NTG).

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.  I hold two Masters degrees: one in technology management and another in Intellectual Property. I have been a World Intellectual Property Organisation scholar.  He just concluded his doctoral programme from the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation Obafemi Awolowo University.  He was an Africalics PhD Research Fellow, Business and Management Department, Aalborg University, Denmark.  His doctoral research focused on academic entrepreneurship in selected Nigerian universities.  He is an Assistant Chief Research Officer at the National Centre for Technology Management.  As a researcher, he has recently taken part in several surveys including STI indicators and technological learning mechanisms in Nigeria’s incubators.  He has published articles in the area of R&D and innovation management, small business development, incubation management and other development areas.

Professor João Alberto Neves dos Santos holds a PhD in Production Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).  He has been a member of the Administration Department of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF, Campus do Valonguinho in Niterói) since 2009 as an adjunct professor.  Coordinates the Laboratory of Strategy, Innovation and Evaluation of this Department, which is a Research Group recognized by the National Council of Technological and Scientific Development – CNPq.  Teaches the following disciplines: Quality Management, Production Management and Technology Strategies and Innovation.  He conducts research in Innovation Management, with interests in evaluating the management of incubators, indicators of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Lina Landinez is a research associate at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre (S2BMRC, www.science-marketing.com), and a lecturer in innovation at the Business School at Münster University of Applied Sciences (MUAS).  She has finished her PhD research at the University of Adelaide in Australia, focusing on technological change and social capital.  She holds a masters in Economics of Innovation and a bachelor in Agricultural Sciences.  Lina has a broad expertise including government institutions, research centres and universities in Latin America, Australia and Europe.  She is currently coordinating international projects to develop higher education strategies for collaborating with Latin American universities on entrepreneurship and innovation.

My expertise resides in environmentally sustainable and resilient organizations and in the diffusion of technology and innovations.  In my current position as Project Manager at SEERC (Greece), I have completed R&D projects amounting to more than 4.7 million Euros (with companies, governments, universities and NGOs).  As a follow-up, I have received fully paid invitations to deliver presentations on these topics at conferences organized by the Romanian Government (Bucharest, Romania) and by the Municipality of Ajman (United Arab Emirates).  Similarly, I was successfully involved in consultancy projects (i.e. for COSTA Coffee UK and Transport Systems Catapult UK).  Recently, I have served as Business Development Manager at the Advanced Resource Efficiency Centre (United Kingdom), a knowledge and technology transfer center, where I overseeing the expansion of the customer and business partner portfolio.  In the past, I have worked in the technological innovation field at BOC Group (Austria) having as customers banks from Europe.  Lastly, I have a high passion for academic teaching and I am lecturing at the University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY College (Greece).  I possess a PhD in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a BSc in Computer Science from the same university.
