
FOURTH EDITION OF THE INVENTION FOR INNOVATION SUMMIT
The SATHA Chapter organized the Fourth Invention to Innovation Summit KP, 2018 on 22-23 November, 2018. This annual event exhibits industry driven ideas, products and technologies. It provided a great opportunity to network with innovation leaders, find commercial partners, promote technology and link your ideas to stakeholders. The Summit had country wide coverage and is organized in four provinces of Pakistan annually.
The summit is organized jointly by three helix actors and by design creates a sense of collaboration in the society for science, technology and innovation.
SATHA Innovation awards was held on 22 November 2018 in City University, Peshawar, Pakistan. The Universities of KP Province of Pakistan, the industrial sector and civil service officers participated. The winners were from industry, academia, and social sector.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION” HOSTED BY THE KAZAKHSTANI CHAPTER
Turan University, headquarters of Triple Helix Chapter in Kazakhstan, held the international conference “Innovative Entrepreneurship Education in the Context of Enhancing the Quality of Life” on 12 December 2018.
At the current stage the country’s level of development depends on the quality of education, which belongs to the strategic field contributing to its potential and safety by means of innovative entrepreneurship education of the young generation. Creating innovative entrepreneurship education aimed to train competitive entrepreneurs is an important feature of the national policy. Thus, the development of higher education and education in general can be achieved only through innovation.

SEERC, the hosting institution of the THA Greek Chpater, is offering two fully-funded Marie Curie Early Stage Research/PhD studentship positions. Applications are open towards the University of Sheffield degree to be undertaken in Thessaloniki, Greece, at the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC).
SEERC is offering two Marie Curie Early Stage Research/PhD studentship positions as part of the project ReTraCE: Realising the Transition towards the Circular Economy.
