IASP gathers over 355 members in 77 countries, which in turn represent a network of over 115,000 companies, most of them belonging to the innovation and knowledge economy

Jinnah University for Women established in 1998 under the umbrella of Anjuman-e-Islamia Trust founded by Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed (TI). The University is one of seventeen institutions established by the Trust, but is the most important, as the dream of the founder to establish a separate University for girls came true.
The University supports intellectual and personal growth of students, preparing them to become transformational citizens with sound ethical; culture and religious values. Now the Deputy Head of International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Yunnan Agricultural University, and concurrently Deputy Director of Office of Yunnan Plateau Characteristic Agricultural Industry Research Institute. Since working in the higher education field in Yunnan, China, for over ten years, I have been engaged in research on higher education and technological international cooperation, and Chinese and foreign political institutions and overseas study policies of China. Magdalena Ratalewska, PhD, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz in 2000 and in 2001began PhD studies in the field of management sciences in the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Management of the University. Since the beginning of her academic work, she has been involved in issues associated with how the organisation communicates with its environment and the implementation of new technologies. She has participated in many national and international research projects related to the implementation of, among others, remote education systems, and she is an expert in this field. She started work at the University of Lodz in 2008, in the Interdisciplinary Department of New Media and Distance Education, and since 2013 she has worked as a lecturer at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial Policy at the Faculty of Management. Magdalena Ratalewska, PhD, conducts research related to modern information and communication as well as educational technologies, entrepreneurship and innovation management. She also specialises in issues connected with the functioning of creative industries.

Dr MA Jinyuan is a Research Associate Professor at the Center for Higher Education Research, Southern University of Science and Technology (CHER/SUSTech). Her interests are Liberal Arts Education in Science and Engineering universities, societal impact assessment of universities’ international research collaboration, and the role of universities in transnational and regional innovation systems. She was the Chief of Research Office, International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) as a founding member from June 2015 to March 2019. In 2015, she got her PhD in Higher Education/Comparative and International Education from the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Her master’s and bachelor’s degrees were received respectively from Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (OISE/UT) in 2007, and School of International Studies, Peking University (SIS/PKU) in 2003. Before perusing the PhD degree, she worked as a UN regular staff in United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP) from 2007 to 2010, and for the Education Sector of UNESCO Beijing Office from 2003 to 2005. Moreover, she has working and research experience as an Analyst of Education Section of OECD, Researcher of ActionAid International, Chief Editor of China Education and Research Network, and Reporter of China Education Daily.

I am Greek (from Athens) but I currently live in Amsterdam and I am Senior Researcher at Digital Society School (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences). I have worked as full-time Faculty at the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of California at Berkeley, the European University Cyprus and Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences. As far as Distance and Online Education are concerned, I have collaborated with UK Universities (Liverpool, Roehampton and Essex), as well as Walden University, the Open University of Catalonia and the Open University of Cyprus mainly teaching in postgraduate and PhD programs. I speak fluent Spanish, Catalan, Greek and English, and I have intermediate level in French and Italian. As far as my education is concerned, I obtained my PhD in Pedagogy from the University of Barcelona (Department of Research Methods and Diagnostics in Education). I also have five master degrees in a) Teaching and Learning in Digital Environments, b) Educational Assessment and Program Evaluation, c) Southeast European Studies, d) Management of Organizations in the Economy of Knowledge and e) Evaluation and Quality Management in Higher Education. My research focuses on new and emerging pedagogies, instructional design, digital transformation, teachers’ training and professional development and quality assurance in distance education. In 2015 I was the winner of the International “David Wilson Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning”, which gave me funding and the opportunity to start a research on quality assurance e-learning course design standards among various universities worldwide. I am a committed lifelong learner and want to use my research to enact positive social change. For that reason, I am heavily involved with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which are now part of any research project I lead.

Ruoqi has one years experience working as an assistant in the Education Department, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia, and was selected by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) as a Global Volunteer Teacher, also being a teacher at the Asian Studies School, World Economy and International Affairs Faculty in HSE. She has over three years experience in interviewing and writing in economic journalism, and two years experience in international relations and international marketing & communication.
