Jelena Jesic (born Duran), born 24.7.1983. in Novi Sad, where she finished elementary and high School, mathematical sciences department. Graduated from the Department of Finance, Faculty of Business Economics and received her Master’s degree in 2009. by finishing master thesis with the theme 'Academic Entrepreneurship in the Development of the University Environment' with the highest grade. From the year 2007, working as a teaching assistant at Educons University, she also gained her first professional skills in scientific research, publishing scientific papers and involvement with scientific projects as a young research fellow, in the field of economics, with specific focus on knowledge-based economy, academic entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial university, etc. She finished her PhD degree in economics at Educons University with the theme of doctoral thesis ‘Quadruple helix model as the fundament of the national innovation system’.
