Biography
Rebecca Allinson is a Director at Technopolis responsible for projects/work in the field of European and UK public policy, specifically related to the Higher Education, Entrepreneurship, Research and Innovation Policy. This includes research, project management and evaluation. Rebecca has both evaluated and taught evaluation theory and practice. Rebecca’s work in the last few years has concentrated on the interplay between education, research and enterprise. Recent work includes, the support for the development of a guiding framework for European Entrepreneurial Universities, the production of best practice case studies for the compendium of higher education reform, a study on good practice in relation to the education side of the knowledge triangle, case studies on credit systems in European Universities, work on open educational resources, work in the UK on leadership and governance in industry and HEI. Rebecca managed a piece of work for HEFCE on comparisons of teaching funding mechanisms.
Rebecca holds a BSc in Chemistry and a Masters in Silicon Chemistry.
