Biography
Cheryl Leggon is an associate professor in the School of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States; prior to that, she was a Staff Officer at the National Research Council/National Academy of Sciences. She was elected as a Fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and Sigma Xi. A sociologist, her research and evaluation work focus on under-represented race/ethnic/gender groups in the science and engineering workforces. Among her recent work, STEM and Social Justice: Teaching and Learning in Diverse Settings, 2017, Springer International.
