Biography

I hold a Bachelor of Theology Degree from the Univesrity of Fort Hare (UFH) and a Certificate in Digital Transformation: Platform Strategies for Success. I am currently completing a Master Degree in Business Leadership (MBL) from the University of South Africa's (UNISA's) Graduate School of Business Leadership. I am the Chief Executive Officer of TUT Enterprise Holdings (TUTEH), a wholly owned company of the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), with a specific mandate to generate, grow and sustain third stream income for TUT. I am also a member of the University Council of the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) in South Africa. I chair the Finance Committee of the Council. Prior to taking up the leadership position at TUTEH I was involved in entrepreneurial ventures in mining, construction and facilities management. In addition I have had eleven years in the executive levels within the Copyright administration field.

Areas of interests in TH research

University led regional development through the collaboration with industry and government; Local Economic Development within the Universities locales; TH application in the upliftment and transitioning of local small businesses from subsistence to economic contributors.
