Biography

I obtained her Ph.D. in Management at the University of Bologna in April 2020, when I discussed my thesis "How do brokers broker? Exploring brokering through a process perspective". During the Ph.D. I have been a visiting student at the Rotterdam School of Management. My research involves the study of how brokering is enacted within whole and complex networks, such as multi-actor cross-sector partnerships. In particular, I focus on how collaborative processes unfold and how individual brokers’ practices impact collective innovation processes occurring among multiple heterogeneous actors. During the Ph.D. I have also conducted research on University Technology Transfer practices and policies, and the link with the regional Triple Helix model. I am administrative staff at the University of Bologna since 2012, where I currently manage and coordinate education projects co-planned with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
