We are pleased to inform you that in 2021, Brill, the Publisher of the Triple Helix Journal, will publish in Open Access all research articles in by authors affiliated to institutions in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden, and Austria.
Participating institutions are listed below.
These articles are sponsored by national consortia in a Transformative Agreement, which also gives universities access to Brill’s full journal portfolio.
Open Access articles are downloaded on average 25% more often, are cited more often, and are cited more quickly upon publication. The author retains copyright and is encouraged to share the article widely across networks and databases relevant to their field.
We expect that these agreements will therefore be highly advantageous for the visibility of Triple Helix and for all the authors from the below institutions who could publish their articles in the Triple Helix Journal without any APC cost.
In addition, thanks to an agreement with the Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL), Brill will waive or discount (50-60-80%) the APCs for authors from the below countries when publishing in a Brill hybrid or fully open access journal.
Click on your country below to get the full list of all the journals that EIFL has negotiated terms for open access publishing and the related discount on the APC cost.
Authors will be recognized automatically when they select Open Access during the submission process. Their country and affiliation data are used to identify eligibility for the discount, which is then deducted once they are requested to pay the invoice (after the article has been accepted).
