We are looking for candidates from our wider Community interested in serving as a member of the International Scientific Committee for the II Triple Helix Summit 2018, 10-12 November, Dubai.
The II International Triple Helix Summit 2018 will be held in Dubai, UEA 10-12 November 2018 on the theme “The Role of Government / Academia / Industry in building Innovation-based Cities and Nations”. The Summit will be hosted by the British University of Dubai in cooperation with the University of Dubai and the American University of Ras Al Khaimah and Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government. Dubai will offer an exciting and stimulating venue for Triple Helix Summit 2018 delegates.
Innovation has gained fresh impetus recently in the global economy. While the nations are pacing towards innovative solutions, it is indispensable that Government-Academia-Industry join hands together to progress towards sustainable future. The Summit will focus on how the three key drivers’ collaboration stimulate effective generation and diffusion of new knowledge and technology required in today’s world.
This year the II Triple Helix Summit 2018 will bring together academics, policy advisors, business, non-profits, and other stakeholders to explore experienced-based best practices for the tripartite collaboration of knowledge, technology and innovation.
We are looking for practictioners, academics and policy makers with practical and theoretical knowledge and expertise on the Summit theme to serve as a member of the International Scientific Committee for the Summit.
Key tasks will be to:
- Propose track themes for the Summit program
- Propose and lead on the organization of panel sessions on policy and implementation issues
- Promote the Summit among your network
- Help in evaluating proposals for track themes and for Summit abstracts . Our aim is that the number of abstracts to be evaluated by each member will not exceed the number of 5.
