The International Triple Helix Summit was held in April 2017 at the University of Nairobi. The theme of the summit was “Accelerating attainment of SDGs through ICT &Data”; this was meant to catalyze the overall attainment of Sustainable Development Goals. The Summit proposed the use of a Quadra Helix approach that incorporates the Governments, the private sector, Civil Society and the Academia. It was a 3-day event with 1153 participants (413-profesional delegates and 743-Student delegates) based on the need to involve the media the summit received 157 abstract applicants (Health-50, Education 50, Environments 33, ICT & Data-24), of which 47-were in line with the summit theme hence presented to address different agendas on SDGs.
