Triple Helix for Action: A New Methodology and ‘How-to-Do’ Practice for the Entrepreneurial Discovery and Implementation Process

A one-day training programme with leading experts in the field of Triple Helix and university-industry-government interactions that will enhance skills and understanding of the multi-stakeholder approaches to innovation and entrepreneurship, active roles for inter-regional and inter-cluster facilitators and intermediaries and new business models for regional authorities, governments and smart specialization platforms.

The programme will focus on four distinctive stages of the Entrepreneurial Discovery and Implementation Process (EDIP) for the development and implementation of smart specialization strategies in Europe, and will introduce participants to the leading Triple Helix practices in Europe.

In just a day participants will:

  • Learn about the entrepreneurial discovery process – as applied by different regions and countries in Europe
  • Develop an understanding of the role that the triple helix model plays in integrating stakeholders
  • Look at the new opportunities for inter-regional and inter-cluster collaboration
  • Learn and share experience of university – industry cooperation and knowledge transfer pathways
  • Practice selections and evaluation for pan-European match-making
